They are very good; complete and
descriptive for a1Z areas. All of the reports satisfy the regurements of
the law and the following cormrents are for clarification and in.`ormational
purposes only.
Portland Limestone: we are pleased that concurrent reclamation is being
conducted wherever possible. We would be interested in the results of using
the soil imprinter. On a mine site in Utah, the use of a "v" slJaped soil
imprinter actually accelerated water erosion on the steeper slo/yes (loamy
soils).
Boettcher Gypsum: Bond is now $38,000.00, with maximum affected acreage of
90 acres.
Slab Canyon Limestone: Bond is now $21,500.00, with maximum af:.`ected acreage
of 30 acres.
Boettcher Limestone: The current $3Z 7,000.00 bond is adequate ,.o cover the
14 acre increase in affected acreage. As the weathered E-band ~vreas did not
have salvageable overburden, what type of growth medium will be used on
these areas for revegetation purposes?
