RE: ANNUAL MINING REPORTS -- NINE LIMITED IMPACT PERMITS
Dear Ms . Chiappone,
Please find enclosed the annual mining reports for the nine 110
permits for Fremont County that have an anniversary date of January
20, 1994 . The Fremont County Board of County Commissioners have
the understanding that the County is exempt from application fees .
This understanding is from discussions held at Colorado Counties
Incorporated meetings and from the Memorandum, of September 18,
1995, from Stephen M. Brown, Assistant Attorney General to the
Mined Land Reclamation Board and Mike Long. Consequently the Board
of County Commissioners are requesting that the application fees
submitted for Fremont County' s Phantom Canyon and Iron Mountain
Road gravel pits be used as credit for the annual mining fees due.
The enclosed check is reflective of that credit .
