• RECLAMATION REPORT
The following information is submitted to comply with Rule 2.09.13 and
Stipulation #17 of the current permit.
During 1993, no additional acreages were disturbed, backfilled and graded, or
tops oiled.
There have been 133 acres seeded since 1985 of 929 acres disturbed. no
additonal areas were Dlanted or reseeded and no reclamation were augmented in
1993.
A topographic map showing cot ours at 5' interevals was taken in August 1993
following the completion of filling B-pit to ash grade. The map is included
following this report. Cross-sections on 100' intervals were plotted from
which cut and fill differences were calculated. B-pit has been reclaimed to
ash grade using the virgin clay as liner material. The long-term spoil pile
has been sloped and graded to minimize the possibility of erosion.
Mass balance calculations estimate 893,270 cubic yards of excess spoil
• material remaining in the long-term spoil pile. The void remaining in B-pit
was calculated nt 1,995,698 cubic yards. An estimated 175,000 cubic yards of
material were hauled from the long term stockpile.
The mass balance calculations are filed at the Keenesburg mine office.
•
PAGE 18
