The following approved seed mixture was used: <br />Species (pls) <br />Western Wheatgrass <br />Slender Wheatgrass <br />Blue Grama <br />Indian Ricegrass <br />Mountain Muhly <br />Spike Muhly <br />Mountain Mahogany <br />Winterfat <br />lbs./acre <br />4 <br />3 <br />2 <br />2 <br />1 <br />1.05 <br />0.5 <br />0.5 <br />Mountain Brome, Cicer Milkvetch, Winterfat and Small Burnet are approved to be used in lieu <br />of Slender Wheatgrass, Spike Muhly or Mountain Mahogany when they are not available. <br />Southwest Seed Inc. and the NRCS recommended these seeds as closely resembling the seeds that <br />they were to replace. The CDMG approved of the seed substitutions. <br />The stormwater diversion upgrade was completed the third quarter. The three drainage's north <br />of Waste Rock "C" were tied in and allowed to flow into a lined armored channel that was <br />completed to carry the flow to the West Pit BMP. A lined armored channel was also completed <br />from the West Pit BMP to two sediment ponds that were constructed south and west of the West <br />Pit.
