No water level monitoring was performed at the No. 3 Mine during 2003. MINE WATER QUALITY The discharge from the No. 3 Mine and No. 1 Mine were combined on August 11, 1995. The average flow measurements from the No. 3 Mine (Outfall 007) for the period 1990 through 1994 are summarized below. The quality of the discharge is presented in a table in Appendix IV. The quality of the discharge from the mines showed some slight variation from last year. The flow decreased, conductivity increased and TDS decreased during the year. The following table presents arithmetic averages of flow and quality measurements taken at Outfall 001. Outfall 001 is the discharge point for the passive water treatment system. As of August 11, 1995, the discharge from Outfall 001 is the combined discharge from the No. 1 and No. 3 Mines.
