O 302 are further described to require 12 flow and field parameter monitoring instances to occur between March and <br />September along with 4 water quality sampling events. All monitoring requirements were fulfilled at these sites <br />in 1996. Required monitoring at site 302 included monthly flow, field parameter, and water quality sampling <br />during the irrigation season June through September. Site visitation requirements were met at site 302. <br />Tables 39 through 43 provide summaries of the 1996 Water Year data collected at Fish Creek surface flow sites. <br />Tables 39a through 43a provide period of record statistical summaries of collected data at each site. Figures 72 <br />through 91 provide graphical representations of water levels and selected water quality parameters recorded at <br />each site. Again, typical flow pattems were exhibited at these sites with spring runoff periods accounting for the <br />peak flows observed. Runoff magnitudes were well above average during 1996 based upon comparison with <br />previous years data and peak flow estimates were in some instances derived from the extreme high end of the <br />rating curves developed for each site. These values represent best estimates but are unsubstantiated with <br />measured data. At all sites, the inverse relationship between flow and field conductivity was evident. <br />Water quality parameter values noted to occur outside of previously established ranges include the following. <br />New maximum calcium, magnesium, and hardness values were established at site 302 in September (Table 40). <br />New inaximutn total recoverable iron and mercury values were established at site 1002 in April and June <br />respectively (Table 41). Total recoverable manganese and nitrite maximums were recorded at site 27A in April <br />(Table 42). Lastly at site 1003 (Table 43), new maximum total recoverable iron and nitrite values were noted in <br />" April with a new maximum bicarbonate recorded in August. <br />Trout Creek: Three surface flow monitoring sites on Trout Creek are utilized. Site 301 is located on Trout Creek <br />above the confluence with Middle Creek; site 6 is located on Trout Creek below the confluence; and site 1005, <br />~_ <br />established in 1994, is located downstream of confluence of Fish Creek and Trout Creek. Required monitoring <br />for these sites included monthly flow, field parameter, and water quality sampling during the irrigation season <br />June through September. Site visitation and water quality sampling requirements were met at these sites during <br />1996. <br />Tables 46 through 48 provide summaries of the 1996 Water Year data collected at Trout Creek surface flow sites. <br />Tables 46a and 48a provide period of record statistical summaries of collected data at sites 301, 69, and 1005. <br />Figures 92 through 101 provide graphical representations of water levels and selected water quality parameters <br />recorded at each site. For the most part, typical pattems were observed although flow magnitudes were higher <br />than those experienced over the past few years. Again, peak flow estimates were derived from extrapolated flow <br />curves in some instances. <br />Identified water quality variances include a new maximum pH recorded at site 69 in August. Several <br />insignificant changes in historical range figures are noted at site 1005 on Table 48. None are significant. The <br />database for this site is limited withjust over two yeazs worth of data available. <br />10- <br />
