(See Notes #1 8c #2)
Note#1:
Moffat County has an average inventory of 17 active gravel pits, and we have only one
crusher, which operates approximately 7 months out of the yeaz. Typically, we expect to
have new disturbance in two gravel pits (or less) and occasional reclamation activity in
one. That means our only activity will be stockpile reduction and minor pit-run
excavation in at least 14 of our gravel pits each yeaz. No new disturbances or
reclamation wiU have occurred during the previous year and no new changes to the
previous year's map are necessary. No new map is required
Note #2:
Moffat County does not make annual construction, mining and reclamation plans for each
pit. Our gravel activity each yeaz is determined by necessity, emergency, budget
restraints, and resource availability.
Comments:
The BLM portion of the Sweeney Pit has been reclaimed, and a release has been
requested. The Kennecott portion is stockpile reduction only - no map required. There
has been no new disturbance.
