III IIIIIIIIIIIII III
Twentymile Mine
~~ Attn: Marcus Middleton
29515 Routt County Road #27
Oak Creek, Colorado 80467
To Whom It May Concern:

Doc Date:12N 1 /2001
During the month of December, 1993 I, Steven W. Korte, completed an
in-flow water study for the Cyprus Twentymile Mine. This project
consisted of measuring the amount and properties (conductivity,
tmeperature, pH) of water flowing into the mine. The mine's mains
development, active faces, and bleeders were walked and all
pipelines traced to their source of origin. The map included with
this report list all observed sources of mine water in-flow at the
end of 1993 and concurrent development.
A total of 15 sites were measured for amount of flow and water
properties. Two of these sites were in the bleeders and reflect a
portion of the longwall mining operation in-flow at the time of the
study. An additional site is the West Mains dewatering program
(west of the southwest mains) presently being undertaken. Of the
remaining 12 sites, 2 sites are measured in-flow from the Southwest
Mains cutting through the old West Mains development (east of the
southwest mains). All sites are listed below and on the map as
follows:
Site Flow (gpml Temn.{F) pH Cond.
