Long <br />Division Director <br />We have reviewed the above referenced Annual Hydrology Reports, and they have been forwarded to <br />Denver for PHC compliance review. A few problems were noted with the information submitted- First, no <br />values were provided for SAR for surface water lab analyses, 3'~ quarter 2000. Second, EC values were not <br />provided for 3"' quarter 2000 ground water field data. Please explain why the information was not <br />obtained, and provide the Wormation if available (SAR calculation can be made from the analytical data <br />reported). Finally, the fad that new mine inflows were encountered within We Main East Entries was <br />documented oral monthly inflow observed was reported However, no water quality information for the <br />inflow, as required by the groundwater monitoring plan of the approved permit was provided.
