Dept. of Natural Resource
Re: Delta Sand and Gravel Company, Annual Report for
Pit #1 M.L.R. Permit No 77-20
Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit is
plarch 28, 1983. We continued to mine land in Stage I as outlined
in the Conversion and Ammendment dated August 17, 1980 and accepted
November 20, 1980.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report questions
as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and Regulations.
2.41 (1) Approximately 1.77 Acres was mined in 1982. We mined
to within 8 feet of the bottom of the pit in Stage I.
See the annual report map attached.
(2) No reclamation was required this year.
(3) Not applicable
(4) Not applicable.
(5) Not applicable.
(6) Not applicable.
(7) Mining will continue in Stage I next year. 4Ye will
mine the final 8.00 feet of the reserves in Stage 1
of this operation. There is the remote possibility
that we will move into Stage II late next year. At
this time it is not possible to estimate how much
land we would disturbe in Stage II. See the attached
map.
