Kaiser Ventures, Inc. is the <br />permittee and Mr. Mike Keegan is the contact person. His address is P.O. Box 37, Desert Center, <br />CA 92239. The permit area is 187.5 acres of which 50 is Federal and 137.5 is private located <br />approximately 22 miles west of Pagosa Springs on Colorado State Highway 151, portions of <br />Sections 29 and 30, T34N, R4W. Total disturbance at the mine site totals approximately 1 ] 0 acres. <br />All disturbance areas have now been reclaimed. Various reclamation activities have been conducted <br />over the past ] 5 years on areas of the mine site as described in the permit document. As requested <br />by the Division, Attached is a summary of disturbed acreage for the site. <br />No reclamation activities were necessary or were conducted during 1999. Other activities that were <br />completed during the year incl uded noxious weed control in late July and harvesting of the irrigated <br />AVF in July and September. During the July cutting, 600 and 14 bails were produced on the <br />reclaimed and reference areas, respectively, and the September cutting produced 243 and 4 bails <br />from the same areas.
