Table 6 compares the EPA McUtod 1312 leaching data for the five new sarQtpies <br />with chose obtained in pre-operational testing and for the earlier samples from the <br />Lower Impoundment. Table 6 demonstrates that the five new, deeper samples are <br />entirely comparable in terms of leaching of metals and other solutes with the <br />expectation from pre-operational testing and with earlier testing of operational <br />samples from Utis impoundment. The tests show that the San Luis tailings materials <br />are not expected to pose a hazard to water quality due to leaching by tnete~oric <br />water. <br />Geochirnica, lnc.
