We are using these acres to
stockpile crushed gravel and pit- run rock. When the crushed gravel now stock
piled is used, we will reclaim and re-seed theses areas and will not crush any new
gravel until the spring of 2002.
Between February 19, 2001 and September 26, 2001, we have taken out 60 yards of
pit run gravel, 1,047 yards of /2 inch chip gravel and 345 yards of 1-inch crushed
gravel, also 10,787 yards of 3/4 inch crushed gravel.
The projection for the year 2002, is to take out approximately 10,000 yards of
crushed gravel.
If you have further questions concerning this gravel pit, feel free to contact me at the
above address or Phone (970)675-8644 or Fax (970)6755211 .
Thank You,
Stanley asmussen
District Supervisor Rio Blanco County
