But this comparison indicated a need to stress shrubs in the seed mixture. <br />Grass and forb production from topsoil areas continues to be significantly greater than <br />native vegetation stands. Species seeded on the topsoil areas are more productive than <br />native vegetation, plus competition with shrubs and trees are nil. <br />6.0 ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING AND PROTECTION <br />6.1 Hydrology Monitoring <br />6.1.1 Introduction <br />The monitoring plan is designed to determine impacts of WRN's mining operation.
