Disturbed <br />acreage approved under DMG permit remained at 73 acres with a total of 66.4 acres <br />disturbed through 1998. Four reports of spills were made to the DMG as a result of well <br />head leaks at production wells IA-4H1 and 1A-SHR, and a pipeline leak near well 91 -1 V. <br />5.2.2 Topsoil Storage <br />No additional topsoil was removed or stockpiled in 1998. At years end the stockpiled <br />topsoil remains at 77,125 cubic yards. <br />• 5.3 Reclamation Activity <br />5.3.1 Seeding <br />Inactive drill pads (4-2V, 93-3V, 91-1 V, 94-1 M, 2A-2V, 91-2H, and core hole well 26-3C) <br />were broadcast seeded (double the drilled rate) with seed mixture approved by the BLM <br />and DMG, see Table 5-2. Disking and seeding in November and December was necessary <br />to reduce weed infestation on seven well pad surtaces, with a total of approximately 3.5 <br />acres. Figure 5-1 illustrates 1998 status of disturbed, reclaimed areas and planned <br />disturbed areas for 1999. <br /> <br />26 <br />
