A review of the monitoring data for the period of this report indicates that no
subsidence is occurring at the ranch structures or the Newlin Creek point. Within the
Florence Water Line monument network, the maximum displacement occurs at
Monument E. The current displacement is 1.56 feet. Monument E displaced soon
after mining occurred in 1987, and has been relatively stable since that time. This
subsidence measurement is within the maximum value of 2.79 feet as predicted in the
permit application. There are no indications that subsidence due to mining is adversely
affecting operation of the Florence Water Line.
Subsidence monitoring of structures indicates that subsidence is occurring only at
locations along the water line, and that the magnitude of displacement is within
predicted values. Only minor additional subsidence is expected to occur at the
structure monitoring locations.
