Additional Sheet
2002 Annual Report
Barnhart Pit
M-84-008
Transit Mix of Pueblo
Anniversary Date: May 9
RECEa@dEC
MAY 0 9 21102
gi~ision of Minerals and Geology
Overview of Permit Year: During the 2001/2002 operating year there was no activity at the site. A
permit revision and amendment is under planning for submittal in the future, therefore this operation
may become active in the future, depending on the results of the various studies being conducted.
Annual Report Maps: Although no activity occurred at this operation, a map is provided which shows
the current permit area and the current land that is being considered for addition to the permit via
amendment. The land shown as being considered for amendment may change as the amendment
planning process continues, but at this time is consistent with current thinking. This map is essentially
the same as the map submitted last year as no changes have occurred.
Affected Lands: No change from previous reports.
Revegetation: The site is stable and is not subject to erosion.
Expected Activity (2002-2003): None expected. Amendment studies are being conducted. Due to the
considerable possible impact on water resources, the future of this permit and operation, at this time,
seems to be largely dependent upon the groundwater modeling being examined on this site.
Bonding: This operation is covered under a Corporate Surety.
Transit Mix of Pueblo 2002 Annual Report M-84-008 Barnhart Pit Page 1 of 1
