Three well nests of three wells each were
plugged with cement from TD to just below the surface. Plugging was performed by Western American
Drilling and was supervised by Grevstone stall and Gene Dillisham of [he Bureau of land Management
Cement was mixed in 80 gallon and smaller batches and pumped downhole through 2-inch tubing or tremie
pipe. The tremie pipe was lowered to within ten feet of TD and a batch of cement was pumped. Then the
pipe was raised up and subsequen[ batches were mixed and pumped. The PVC casing was broken otf
three feet below the ground and cement was pumped until it was one or two leer from the surface.
Af[er the cement hardened dirt was shoveled on top of the site and raked to eliminate large mounds.
All trash was taken off site and disposed ot. Wire mesh and rebar protective cages, used to protect the
wellhead, were given to the BLM for their future ttse.
A well abandonment report is attached (or your review and approval
Reseeding also occurred during this period on a bald area on the top of the ridge between Ponds #002
and #(x13. The ground was hoed and broken in order to trap seeds and to prevent removal by surface
runoff and strong winds. Approximately 45 pounds of the approved reclamation seed mix was applied.
Well sampling waz done for wells 1, lA, 1B, 1C, 2 and 7; and the samples were taken to Core Labs for
cheminl analysis. Samples were obtained for all wells excep[ for well 2, which was dry.
Thanks for vuu: time and aaeutiun.
Sincerely,
Iezry H.
