KERB RECLAMATION GRAZING PLAN
The Kerr Reclamation Grazing Plan was approved by the CMLRD on July 5, 1991.
Appropriate electric fence was erected and cattle grazing commenced on July 19,
1991, on the north portion of the 720 property reclaimed area. As previously
reported, cattle grazing is projected to decrease the "bunching" of grasses and
stimulate the required woody plan growth. The area grazed involved approximately
105 acres of reseeded ground and 55 acres of native ground. Recommended
stocking was 86 Animal Unit Month (AUM), meaning 86 cow/calf units for 30 days.
The cattle were removed on August 20, 1991, for a total of 31 1/2 days grazing.
Exhibit 1, Kerr Coal Company Grazing Plan contains details of the aproved grazing
plan.
5
