Two years ago the insect was released at the site. Mr. McRae said that the <br />weevil is still present and we will always have problems with thistle until the Ute <br />Indians, who own the surrounding land, start a weed program to curb their infestation. <br />Prevailing winds blow seed onto the mine site every year. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Michael T.
