Information on the method
and procedure utilized for second order accuracy is enclosed. We have
also enclosed a map of the mine development as of April 4, 1986. This
map shows :: conservative angle of draw to the surface. The angle of
draw shows that Subsidence Point 1 would be the only monument affected
prior to the next monitoring survey.
The subsidence monitoring for May 1986 was performed prior to receipt
of the Division's letter of May 16, 1986. In view of the Division's
decision in that letter, would a survey conducted in May be acceptable
versus the annual survey conducted in December? December is a difficult
tune of year for monitoring due to snow cover.
Sincerely
Stephen Self
General Manager
SS/11
Enclosures
