During April, the West Pit water treatment plant operated efficiently discharging a total
of 10,570,800 gallons (32.44 acre-feet) of water to Rito Seco Creek, a total of 613,000
gallons (1.88 acre-feet) of water was transferred from the water treatment plant to the
tailing impoundment, and seepage along Rito Seco Creek remained dry.
