Given the complex nature of the issues involved and
the urgent need to implement a workable plan before the 2007 field season, the Division
requests that this Technical Revision be submitted no later than 6 October 2006.
Colowvo Response
Colowyo currently has numerous revisions to its permit that are awaiting approval
or comment by the Division. The revision that is mentioned above will be submitted
at a later date, after Colowyo has had the opportunity to compile and analyze the
data that has been collected concerning the above mentioned comments. Because
the CDOW has taken a more active role in permit development concerning impacts
to wildlife, Colowyo believes it would be prudent to include their thoughts in any
revisions concerned with the issues that have been discussed in the previous items.
Colowyo feels that before any revisions are put forward a general consensus needs
to be reached by all parties concerned in order to minimize delays caused by
inevitable modifications and debate.
Please contact me at (303) 866-4929 if you have any questions or need any additional
information.
Sincerely,
Tay To ozz~`w
Senior Environmental Engineer
Land Manager
