Apparently, dry weather conditions <br />in the spring of 1994 caused the 1993 seeding effort to be a total failure. The area <br />was seeded again in 1995 which was virtually a total failure. During 1997, it was <br />decided to again seed the mine site. Following is a table which presents the number of acres <br />disturbed, bacldlled, topsoiled and seeded. Initial seeding was performed in the fall <br />of 1993.
