'~-- :•••:'^ <br />SUBJECT: Quarterly Subsidence Monitoring, Fourth Quarter 19~~~t%}t';~ <br />1) The fourth quarterly visual inspection for subsidence, King <br />Coal Mine, La Plata County, Colorado was made on October 29, <br />1985. <br />2) No change was noted in conditions reported during the third <br />quarter. <br />3) No new evidence of subsidence is apparent. <br />The surface area above both old and current workings was <br />inspected for evidence of slump, subsidence, shearing, cracks <br />in bedrock, vegetation damage and water infiltration. No evi- <br />deuce of subsidence is apparent. <br />The purpose of the inspection was to meet requirements of <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division for quarterly moni- <br />toying of the surface for subsidence. <br />., <br />\' • <br />~' ~ <br />_ -Fred M.
