Mountain Coal has satisfied the requirements and the
report is accepted .
The Division reviewers felt that the inclusion of the field investigation memorandum, providing
a comprehensive discussion of observed subsidence artifacts above longwall panels 8 and 9 was
particularly helpful. We encourage MCC to continue the inclusion of similar observation
memoranda in future annual reports.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
~l/~~~iu'(~Y
Jim Burnell
Environmental Protection Specialist
