BYRON J. 8s LALANI R. WEATHERS PAGE 2
WEATHER MINE #1 - 2000 ANNUAL REPORT
M-99-089
.OCTOBER 20, 2004
11(cont) and partially mine. Topsoil has been stockpiled for use when
reclamation begins along the, east side of the site ..and the south
side of the new area (brown). we estimate there are 43,000 cy of
topsoil in the pile at this time. No new exterior slopes were
mined this year so no sloping was required. Mining will continue
next year in areas previously disturbed and may expand as the
demand for material increases. If needed, additional area will
be stripped adjacent to the mining area and the topsoil will be
saved for use in reclamation. No reclamation is required at
this time, other that the bank sloping when mining reaches the
permit limits. Sloping completed to date has been successful.
