• <br />TREE AND SHRUB <br />PLANTING RECOMMENDATION <br />For best results, stock should be grown from a local seed source and <br />raised locally and planting should be done between March 1st and May <br />15th, or October 1st to November 20th. The site should be bare of all <br />vegetation for at least one foot around the planting. Potted or balled <br />trees and shrubs should be used when possible. Stock should be planted <br />the same depth or deeper than the plant was growing in the nursery. Soil <br />should be well packed around the stock to eliminate all air pockets. <br />Stock should be watered in when planted if possible.
