Hidden Valley Pit <br />MLR No. M-98-024 Tax I.D.# <br />Dear Barbara: <br />Enclosed is the Annual Report for the past year for The Hidden Valley Pit of B&B <br />Excavating, Inc., including map and report form. Past records show that the annual <br />date for the pit is August 3 of each year. The financial warranty for the permit is <br />$83,155 and the total permit area is 183.6 acres, although Eagle County has limited the <br />10 year operation area to 29.2 acres as shown on the enclosed map. The mining and <br />reclamation plan is not phased. <br />The following information is provided to comply with Rule 2.4.1: <br />(1) Mining did not take place in the previous year as was planned. The existing <br />disturbance consists of the access road, a truck scale and scale house/office trailer has <br />been set up as shown on the enclosed annual report map. Topsoil is being stockpiled <br />along the perimeter as outlined in the permit. Larger scale topsoil stripping and mining <br />will likely occur in the summer of 2003. The sediment pond has also been installed and <br />all topsoil from the excavation has been stockpiles along the perimeter of the site. <br />
