Concerns: 2 main categories <br />A. The current PHC contains no predictions or determinations <br />of TDS levels. Determinations must be made based on the <br />past observations and present trends. These <br />determinations need to be incorporated into the PHC and <br />AHR. <br />B. The mine is experiencing elevated TDS levels in mine <br />inflow and discharging elevated TDS waters into the White <br />River. This issue needs to be outlined and explained in <br />the PHC with a followup in the AHR until the problem is <br />corrected or the cause determined to be other than a <br />mining issue. <br />II. Recommended Actions <br />A. THAT THE MINE GIVE FIRST PRIORITY TO LOCATING THE SOURCE <br />AND REASON FOR EXTREME SALINITY LEVELS IN THE MINE <br />INFLOW. <br />1. Recommend that the operator conduct a mine inflow <br />study. This could be accomplished by an EC pocket <br />survey. Locations of samples need to be mapped. <br />
