PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Annual fees are not permit renewal fees, they are fees for having a valid
reclamation permit, and must be paid each year until reclamation responsibility
release is granted. If you have requested reclamation release from the Division
but your permit is not terminated by your anniversary date listed below the annual
fee MUST ue paid. If the Division does release this permit before the anniversary
date please do not pay this fee.
The fee is. for LAST YEARS mining and reclamation season, and MUST be paid even if
the mine was in an inactive state. It is due and payable ON OR BEFORE the permit
anniversary date shown below.
PLEASE NOTE: IF THE ANNUAL FEE, ANNUAL REPORT, AND MAP ARE NOT RECEIVED ON OR
BEFORE THE ANNIVERSARY DATE, A FORMAL NOTICE OF VIOLATION, AND A BOARD ORDER TO P.
CIVIL PENALTIES IN THE AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE ANNUAL FEE OF $225.00 WILL BE
AUTOMATICALLY ASSESSED. NO PERMITS FOR NEW MINING OPERATIONS SHALL BE GRANTED TO
ANY OPERATOR WHO IS CURRENTLY FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION IN THIS STATE
CC.R.S. 34-32-120) UNTIL THE VIOLATION IS ABATED.
