A-1 Alluvial ground water well located adjacent to <br />Stollsteimer Creek below the surface facilities and the <br />Barren Ridge area. The site has been monitored to <br />assess effects of mining the Barren Ridge area. <br />W-1 Alluvial ground water well located adjacent to <br />Stollsteimer Creek above the mine facilities. This <br />station was selected to assess alluvial baseline <br />conditions. <br />W-5 Alluvial ground water well located adjacent to <br />Stollsteimer Creek below all mining activities. The <br />station was selected to assess potential effects of <br />mining on the alluvial water quality and level. <br />W-6 Deep ground water well located in the mouth of Deep <br />Creek Canyon. The station was selected to monitor deep <br />aquifer baseline in the Fruitland Formation during <br />mining of the Barren Ridge and Revision Area No. 1. <br />W-7 Domestic well located in the alluvium of Stollsteimer <br />Creek approximately 3/4 mile above mining activities. <br />The station was selected as a control to assess the <br />effects of mining on well water quality. <br />W-9 Deep ground water well located in the Fruitland <br />Formation below the sedimentation ponds controlling <br />runoff from Revision Area No. 1. The station was <br />selected to assess effects of mining activities on <br />aquifer quality and level. <br />W-10 Deep ground water well located in the Fruitland <br />Formation above the sedimentation ponds controlling the <br />Revision Area No. 1. The objectives of this station are <br />~-__ similar to those of W-9. <br />i <br />W-16 4eep ground water well located in the reclaimed area of <br />the east pit near Hwy 151. The site was selected to <br />'~ assess the quality and level of water in the reclaimed <br />aquifer. <br />
