The majority of the bugs have been worked
out of the system, but there are still a few that need to be taken
. care of during the coming months. One that I'm sure you will
observe is that the summary tables for the water year data does not
have "Water Year" in the title of the table. You will be able to
identify the water year table by looking in the table of contents
or merely looking at the period of record listed on the table.
The Fish Creek alluvial valley floor mining area data and text can
be found in Appendix B. Due to the intensive monitoring program
for this area it was decided it would be best to have the data and
text presented in its own appendix. Until the monitoring program
is reduced I imagine it will be best to continue handling this part
of the report in this manner. Please let me know if you have any
thoughts on this.
As you are reviewing the data you will note that selected stations
have more than the required sample episodes. This is pertinent for
stations 39, 84, 109 and 115. This sample count numbers reflect
the additional sampling that was conducted at the stations, for
example when the Division sampled 301 TCC obtained a split sample.
This is reflected in the larger sample number. This is just
brought to your attention so that you can better understand the
difference between sample numbers.
The report indicates that the Trout Creek sandstone replacement
well will be completed in June, 1994. This well has been an
ongoing concern due to the difficultly encountered in providing a
,~ good seal on top of the sandstone. The first seal that was placed
installed did not set up quickly enough and water piped up through
