The water was <br />sampled as outlined in paragraph 26 of Battle Mountain's Water Decree, Case No. <br />89CW32. The analysis report is attached. <br />The three pairs of lysimeters located west of the tailings pond area have been checked bi- <br />weekly Apri] 1992 thru March 1996 and quarterly since March 1996. All lysimeters <br />continue to be dry. <br />The next sampling event will take place in July 2003. <br />'ncerely <br />lio F.
