Annual Report for the Maybell Mine Division of Minerals and Geology
July 2000 to June 2001
A technical revision that clarified the permit area boundary and revegetation strategies
was approved in October 2000. A map is attached that shows the permit area boundary.
Approximately 350 cubic yards of material was excavated from within the permit area in
May of 2001 for use at the Maybell Heap reclamation project.
Excavations are expected to increase at the mine site during the 2002 construction season.
Excavated material will be used at the Maybell Heap reclamation project. Excavations
will occur within the present permit area boundary.
