The Mine has a total permitted affected <br />acreage of 56 acres in Section 25, T2S, R71 W, 6PM and Section 8, T3S, R70W, 6PM. The Mine does not <br />have a phased reclamation plan, is not in temporary cessation, and will continue operati~~ns in the next <br />report year. There was no increase in the amount of affected acreage during the period covered by this <br />report, and no additional disturbances are anticipated during [he next report period. <br />The affected area for Section 25, T2S, R71 W, 6PM did not change during the report year. The affected <br />acreage map submitted with the 1996 1 12 Annual Report is still valid for mining operations in Section 25. <br />The Cotter Corporation has reviewed the sufficiency of the Financial Warranty for Permit No. M-77-300, <br />the Schwartzwalder Mine, and has determined that the current bond value of 937 090, hrld under Bond <br />No. U2155972 of the State of Colorado, is sufficient to cover all DMG related reclamati~~n costs. <br />A check in the amount of $550.00 is attached to this report as payment for the Permit No. M-77-300 <br />annual fee. <br />If you have any questions, or require additional information on the contents of this report, please call Jim <br />Staloch at (303) 642-3893 or Preston Niesen at (303) 980-1292. <br />Sincerely, <br />Ti ++, ot~-r W ~ {~ ti rc ~ <br />B , <br />Timothy W.
