The intent is to both
improve the quality of our annual reports while simplifying submittal preparation
via the utilization of aerial photographs. Uniform reporting dates would also
simplify tracking of due dates for both parties.
Due to the expense of mobilizing aircraft and orchestrating aerial filming, it is
necessary to optimize coverage while in the air at a given point in time. Also,
to avoid hidden views related to foliar cover or snow, aerial shots are best made
during late fall. Additionally, field data must be current to within 45 days of
the annual report due date according to CMLRD Rule 2.41 (8).
We request the following time frame for establishing aerial photographs, providing
the required annual fees, and annual report submittal:
November 1 to December 15 ... shoot aerial photographs.
December 15 ... due date for receiving annual fees.
December 15 to January 31 ... time allowed to develop aerial photographs and
write the annual report.
January 31 ... final date for receiving annual report.
Through the utilization of aerial photographs, Sterling Companies will be in a
better position to develop their own annual reports with greater independence,
and increasing involvement. Accuracy and suitability of information provided
will also be inhanced via the use of aerials.
The five operations involved include the following:
M-77-439 Home Office Mine 10/23 112 $350.00
M-78-044 W.
