Enclosed are analytical reports <br />from Accu-Labs and Sangre De Cristo Lab (SDC) for the recent bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and bi- <br />yearly sampling periods as specified in the April 1492 Abatement Plan. The cross-reference cable <br />between sample identification numbers, sample types and sample locations is also attached. <br />Analysis that have not been received will be forwarded to you as I receive them. Field and rinse <br />blanks were collected as part of the QA/QC. <br />All surface water stations were inspected and RS-4 and RS-6 were found to be dry. <br />Vacuum on fhe lysimeters was verified. <br />When we checked the piezometers on the main embankment of the tailings impoundment on July <br />30, 1998 the piezometers were dry or contained well below 12 inches of water. <br />The iwo new west pit piezometers were measured for depth to water on July 30, 1998 with the <br />following result: BF-lwas 1 1.83 ft and BF-2 was 15.51 ft. The other piezometers in the West Mine area <br />were also checked with the following result: PW-1 was 13.92 ft, PW-2 was 15.00 ft, PW-3 was 23.10 ft <br />and PW-4 was 25.80 ft. <br />The underdrain was at approximately 28 gpm. <br />For the month of July the leak detection flow was 19 GPAD.
