The results of our analysis
and associated discussion were presented in our December 21, 1995
letter.
Figures 1 and 2, attached, present copies of our calculations
for the critical circle only. The configuration parameters,
boundary conditions and soil strength parameters are noted on the
figures. We performed an iterative analysis to determine the
lowest approximate factor of safety. The iterative analysis was
based on the estimate of the center of rotation location calculated
using ilAV FAC DM-7 Tables. The attached figures present those
conditions which result in the lowest calculated factor of safety.
If you have any questions, or if we may be of additional
service, please contact ~~~
=_c fitted
RT AND CIATES
r ner, P.E.
n Of ice Manager
enclosures
P.O. 80:: 1935 P.0 BO?: OJ19 __. 3o3n _. _.e
GB:.ND JLZIGT'a GCI, CG "1G N'~'ZCS'c, GC. 311J?
