' Project Narrative
DOA180115
' The following report contains the analytical results for three water samples submitted to Quanterra-
Denver on January 18, 2000, according to documented sample acceptance procedures.
Dilution factors and footnotes have been provided on each datasheet to assist in the interpretation of the
results.
' Quanterra utilizes USEP.4 approved methods in all analytical work The samples presented in this report
were analyzed for the parameters listed on the analytical methods summary page in accordance with the
methods indicated. A sutnmary of QC data for these analyses is included at the rear of [he report.
' The results included in this report have been reviewed for compliance with the laboratory QA/QC plan.
All data have been found to be compliant with the exception of those items noted.
Supplemental QC information
Sample Arrival and Rece
The samples presented in this report were received at [he laboratory in two coolers at temperatures of 4.0
and 4.0 degrees Celsius. All sample bottles were received in acceptable condition.
Pesticides 8081A
Samples DOA180115-001, -002 and -003 exhibited surrogate recovery for Decachlorobiphenyl outside
the established control limits due to matrix interference. The extraction lab observed the formation of
emulsions during the extraction of these samples. In addition, this method allows for one of the two
surrogates to be outside the established control limits. Both surrogates were in control in the associated
method blank, laboratory control sample and laboratory control sample duplicate. No further action was
taken by the laboratory.
PCBs 8082
Samples DOA180115-0O1, -002 and --003 exhibited surrogate recovery for Decachlorobiphenyl outside
1 the established control limits due to matrix interference.
