We intend to continue mining operations into 1997. The enclosed <br />map illustrates the surveyed disturbance acreage which has been actively mined (22.0 acres) and total <br />disturbance (32.2 acres). The 2.9 acres of new disturbance includes topsoil stripping for pit <br />advancement. The map also shows storm water control ditches which were associated with Technical <br />Revision OS to the above-referenced permit. <br />No additional acres have been permanently reclaimed during the 1995-96 report period. Topsoil <br />salvaged ahead of pit advancement was placed into existing topsoil stockpiles. The topsoil stockpiles <br />will be graded and seeded in November, 1996 to a temporary seed mixture similar to the mix <br />presented in Table E-3 of Permit No. M-84-168. <br />During the past repott period (October 14, 1995 through October 22, 1996) 1.9 new acres were mined <br />and 2.9 acres were newly disturbed. The projection for the 199Cr97 report period is for approximately <br />5.3 acres of new mining disturbance in Mine Area N4. <br />Additional information concerning planned disturbance by area and the projected dates of development <br />are given in Permit M-84-168 Table D-1.
