In 1981-82 mining did not include any area that
is part of the final lake shore perimeter. In April 1982, 60U
feel of 5 foot. high galvanized wire with 2" by 4" openings and
60 posts was placed around existing trees along the shores of
Lake Marjorie and Lake Robert to protect them against damage by
beavers. Total cost was $1080.
1Ve will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report
questions as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and
Regulations.
2.41 (1) No new acerage was disturbed during the 1981-1982
mining year. We continued to mine in Stage I as
outlined in the original application. The area in
yellow delineates the area mined last year. We mined
approximately 16,026 cubic yards (0.55 acres approx.
Please see the Annual Report I'Aap enclosed.
(2) Reclamation was not required this year under the
approved plan.
(3) We have started to backfill part of the O.UB acres
disturbed last year. This area will be completely
backfilled as it is part of the setback along the
Lowline Ditch.
