These maps show details of the two areas
in question for ponding as discussed during the bond release inspection December
' 17, 1987. In both areas, the grade is slight but
these maps as overlays of the proposed final cont still positive. Using
ours map, there are a few
locations where undisturbed areas have different contours. Refer to Drawing
Nos. D-4-15 & 16 for limits of reclamation.

The attached 1987 Mine Site Soil Sample and Seed Mix Locations map is included
to show where soil sampling was done and the area s where each seed mix was
used. Each soil sample was a composite of 6-10 s mall samples in the general
' area marked. Results of these soil samples and t he fertilizer recommendations
are included (September 23, 1987, Soils Report). Copies of seed mix tags
are enclosed to define the seed mix numbers shown on the map. These were
a few substitutions in the seed mixes due to the availability of seed.' The
actual application rates specified to the seeding contractor were:
#1 Mix Broadcast Rate 40#/acre
' Drill Rate 20#/acre
#2 Mix Broadcast Rate 58#/acre
' Drill Rate
#3 Mix Broadcast Rate 29#/acre
53#/acre
Drill Rate 26.5#/acre
Fertilizer Amonium Nitrate 75#/acre
' 18-45-0 75#/acre
The #4 seed mix was used at the truck dump. The original plan at the dirt berm
was not to revegetate the area because it would be part of a feed lot. Later
' a decision was made to plant seed mix #2 at this location. No soil samples were
taken at these sites. The application rates used at these sites were:
#2 Mix Drill Rate 20#/acre
#4 Mix Broadcast Rate 60#/acre
