is anticipated in the future as retreat mining is completed under <br />other sections of the Florence water line. <br />RANCH STRUCTURES AND NEWLIN CREEK POINT <br />Survey data for the ranch structures and creek point are <br />summarized on Table 3. <br />Reviewing the data indicates that no additional subsidence is <br />occuring at the three ranch structures or the creek point. The <br />minor changes shown on Table 3 are probably attributable to survey <br />error only. No active mining has happened near these structures <br />since prior to 1985. No measurable subsidence at the ranch <br />structures is anticipated until mining proceeds in this area <br />towards the end of the mine's life. <br />CONCLUSION <br />Data collected for the period of this report show that <br />measured subsidence is within maximum values predicted in the <br />approved permit application. As indicated above, only minor <br />additional subsidence is expected to occur at any of the surveyed <br />monuments and structures. Southfield's subsidence monitoring <br />program is adequate to monitor changes in structure orientation <br />changes and potential for damage due to subsidence. <br />
