Please refer to the Annual
Report map for the location of areas discussed in this report; the
colors mentioned correspond with areas colored on the map.
we will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report
questions as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and Regulations.
2.41
(1) Mining continued within Stage Pon lands previously disturbed.
Material demands were lower than expected this year and we
mined 3.51 acres ± of Stage P in the 87/88 season (blue).
(2) Of the area mined 3.51 acres ± will be lake and will need no
further reclamation. The current lake surface area is now
71.17 acres ±.
(3) The silting backfill continues on the 1.91 acres ± remaining
in the silt backfill area (tan); 1.19 acres ± of the original
3.51 acres ± is complete (brown). We have started to lower
the level of the berm between the 2 lakes (orange) and are
currently constructing a passage between the lakes near the
plant site (blue).
The south side of the lake continues to be used as a staging
area for competition water skiers.
We have continued to place stabilization structures, i. e.
concrete pipes, along approximately 125 feet of the northern
lake shore in Stage II and 325 feet ± along the east shore of
Stage III (gray).
