As you know, the mine has been under notice
of temporary cessation since August 8, 1980. No new surface disturbance
has occurred since the annual report of 1980.
This years reclamation has consisted of drill site work, i. e. dispersing
drill cuttings, mixing with soil, covering with available topsoil. 209
of these sites, approximately 4.18 acres, has been reclaimed and will be
seeded with the permitted seed mirture before years end.
Prior years drill site revegetation is progressing fawrably, so we can
anticipate equal results from this years efforts new spring.
No further disturbance or reclamation is anticipated in the near fut~e.
Routine surveillance and maintenance of the area is being carried out.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
4]illiam D. Hester
Reclamation Coordinator
