Enclosed is a map which shows the location of the 0.4 acres disturbed
during 1999 as well as the location and number of acres and dated of planting for all
previously revegetated areas. Would you consider whether any areas at the Bowie No. 2
Mine have actually been "revegetated"? On the enclosed map we show areas that have
been revegetated but these acreages are not reported on the annual reclamation report
form as seeded or planted because the seeding performed to date is temporary.
As a result of our review of this data, the disturbed acreage figure was reduced from 79
acres to 74 acres. The 79 acre figure was the number of acres approved for disturbance
instead of actual disturbance.
Enclosed is Bowie Resources Limited's revised1999 Annual Reclamation Report for its
Bowie No. 2 Mine.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~~~~
J.
