July 8, 1992
Page 8
TCC Response
No response required.
MLRD Concern
Conclusion
The Division feels that at the present time no evidence of material damage is present
and no emerging trend toward material damage can be identified. However, we do
have concerns about CYCC's ability to accurately monitor the Trout Creek Sandstone
aquifer particularly with regards to water quality. Overall, the Division notes a high
degree of diligence on CYCC's behalf adhering to their monitoring program.
TCC Response
As previously addressed, TCC acknowledges the Division's concern on the Trout
Creek Sandstone monitoring, and we will pursue this matter in the near future
subsequent to further discussion on potential options.
I apologize for the tardiness of this response, but given the fact that most of these
items have been discussed in the field I do not feel that we have been remiss in
addressing the Division's concerns. Your cooperation has been greatly appreciated,
and if you have any questions please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Marcus A. Middleton
Environmental Specialist
MAM:mm:pe:dg
