The paper on dioxin toxicity, <br />CIPAC Proceedings Symposium Papers, (M.L. Leng. Comparative toxicology of various <br />chlorinated dioxins as related to chemical structure p. 141), shows that the 2,7-dichloro <br />dibenzo-pdioxin (2,7-DCDD) has o low acute oral toxicity or >1,000 mg/kg/body wt. I also <br />nttached an EPA chart (EPA 40 Cade of Federal Regulations) showing the acute oral <br />toxicity chart where > S00 mg/kg/body weight is a 'CAUTION" signal word on the <br />pesticide label.
