Monitoring
stations SW6-1, SW31-1, and SW33-1 will begin monitoring one year
before surface related disturbances occurs in Federal Coal Lease C-
8424.
On page five of the Eight Annual Hydrology Report a minor
discrepancy may exist. The report states that data had been
collected from five surface monitoring stations. In Appendix B,
only four stations reported data.
High levels of TDS have been detected at two monitoring stations,
SW1-1 and SW11-1. SW1-1 has average TDS of 4541 mq/1, and a high
reading of 5548 mg/1 on 7-2-92. SW11-1 had a TDS reading of 1996
mg/1 on 3-25-92. The TDS level for SW11-1 has increased from 1991.
No data was reported from SW23-1. This indicates that there was no
discharge from the refuse disposal areas. SW24-1 had only one flow
reading on 3-25-92.
